While it was rumoured to come through last Thursday, the Australian iTunes Music Store has been delayed further by the late signature of a major record company according to The Courier Mail.
Last week some Australian users were reportedly able to create accounts with the music store, while others had apparently been able to download tracks. However, these accounts have now been disabled by Apple.
Pre-prepared radio adverts booked with Australian stations had to be pulled at the last minute because of the problem.
It is not known when the Australian iTunes Music Store will finally open it’s doors, although it has been speculated that the upcoming release of iTunes v4.8 will usher in iTMS availibility in more new countries.
